A Successful Conclusion | Formitek Shines at The smarter E Europe 2026 in Munich

 

From June 23 to 25, The smarter E Europe 2026 (TSEEU 2026) was successfully held at Messe München in Munich, Germany.

As one of the world's leading renewable energy exhibitions, the event brought together four major sectors: photovoltaics, energy storage, e-mobility charging, and integrated energy management. The exhibition covered approximately 206,000 square metres and welcomed more than 3,000 exhibitors and over 110,000 professional visitors from around the world.

Energy system integrators, engineering companies, procurement professionals, and other industry representatives from more than 60 countries gathered to explore emerging opportunities arising from Europe's transition toward digitalized, distributed, and low-carbon energy systems.

Formitek made a strong appearance at Booth C2.131C, presenting a wide range of power electronics products. Featuring proprietary power semiconductor technologies, energy storage converters, onboard charging and discharging systems, and integrated energy management solutions, the company became one of the key attractions in the power electronics segment.

Three-Phase Inverter and Energy Storage Converter Series

 

The 4 kW three-phase-to-single-phase inverter was one of the featured products at the exhibition.

Designed to meet European single-phase residential grid requirements, the product supports a wide input voltage range of 90-264 V, achieves a power factor of 0.99, and delivers excellent harmonic suppression performance.

It also supports coordinated bidirectional energy management between photovoltaic systems and energy storage batteries. Built-in CAN and RS485 communication interfaces enable seamless integration with cloud-based energy management platforms, making the inverter ideally suited for residential solar-plus-storage projects across Europe.

 

10 kW / 20 kW High-Protection Portable Shore Power Chargers

The 10 kW and 20 kW portable shore power chargers support single-phase and multiple three-phase wide-voltage input configurations. They are compatible with various lithium-ion and lead-acid battery systems ranging from 36 V to 620 V.

With an IP65 protection rating, the chargers can operate reliably in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 55°C. They achieve a maximum conversion efficiency of up to 95% and use a PFC topology to provide a power factor above 0.99.

The products are equipped with:

• An intelligent touchscreen interface

• CAN and RS485 communication

• Comprehensive electrical fault protection

• Portable and wall-mounted installation options

Certified to standards including CE and UL, the chargers are suitable for applications such as new energy vessels, engineering vehicles, and outdoor off-grid energy storage systems.

Complete operating instructions, troubleshooting guidance, and safety procedures are also provided to meet the demanding requirements of European and North American industrial, marine, and outdoor applications.

 

1 kW / 2 kW Charger Series

The 1 kW and 2 kW charger series use an advanced PFC + LLC topology and supports full-range voltage input for compatibility with power grids worldwide.

The products achieve a power factor of up to 0.99 and deliver industry-leading low total harmonic distortion. Their IP65-rated enclosure is designed for demanding marine environments, while the fan-based cooling system ensures reliable long-term operation.

Optional CAN and RS485 communication interfaces enable intelligent monitoring and system control.

 

4 kW Bidirectional AC/DC Charging and Inverter Converter

The 4 kW bidirectional AC/DC converter combines charging and inverter functions within a single unit.

Its 110-250 VAC wide input voltage range supports both domestic and international electrical standards, while the adjustable 64-86 VDC output range accommodates multiple battery specifications.

The converter includes dual communication buses as standard and is compatible with battery management systems. With a design life of up to eight years, it is particularly well suited for marine and vehicle electrification projects, including the conversion of conventional fuel-powered systems to electric power.

 

2 kW / 7 kW Bidirectional DC/DC Converters

The 2 kW and 7 kW bidirectional DC/DC converters feature an innovative topology combined with advanced digital control algorithms.

With conversion efficiency exceeding 97%, wide-voltage input capability, and support for parallel expansion, the converters enable bidirectional energy transfer and range-extension functions for electric vehicles.

They also incorporate comprehensive protection mechanisms and excellent vibration resistance, making them ideal for high-voltage-to-low-voltage power conversion applications in electric vessels.

 

02. Strong International Attendance and Significant Cooperation Opportunities

 

Throughout the three-day exhibition, the Formitek booth remained highly active.

Energy storage system integrators, charging equipment manufacturers, marine equipment suppliers, international distributors, and engineering, procurement, and construction contractors from Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and more than 60 other countries and regions visited the booth.
