The true strength of DC/DC converter lies in bidirectional power conversion:

When charging from a charging station:

High voltage is converted to 48 V low voltage. While the charging station charges the vehicle, the DC/DC converter can simultaneously replenish the 48 V low-voltage battery pack.

Emergency charging without a charging station:

48 V low voltage is converted back to high voltage, allowing the 48 V battery pack to recharge the traction battery through the DC/DC converter.

Vehicle-to-vehicle charging support:

Ideal for long-distance road trips, outdoor camping, and emergency rescue scenarios, enabling greater confidence and flexibility on the road.
